On 12 August 2027, she stars in Stefano Poda’s contemporary Aida, the spectacular production characterised by reflective surfaces, transparency, dramatic lighting and a visual language combining Ancient Egypt with contemporary art and high fashion.

Netrebko already has a special connection with this staging: she starred in Stefano Poda’s production when it inaugurated the Arena’s 100th Festival in 2023.

The 12 August performance is also the first performance of the Stefano Poda Aida production in the 2027 season, making it an especially attractive date for visitors looking for one of the festival’s major evenings.

Two Different Aidas in Five Days
